I’m sure you’ve heard the old saying that “you can make more money, but you can’t make more time”. Well, after hearing it and knowing what I should do, I’ve finally figured out how to apply it for my situation and I would like to share it with you.
Time has Value
Today at the office, I was speaking with a colleague when she asked why I was going to buy a graphic that I could just make myself. And she was completely right that I could have easily made the graphic myself exactly like they did. It would have taken me about 5 hours to do.
But you know what? I still bought it and the final cost was… $10. She wanted me to spend 5 hours of time on something that I could pay $10 for to skip the work. This made me think of the saying below:
You can make more money, but you can’t make more time.
That $10 saved me 5 hours and I made more than that in those 5 hours by concentrating on better income producing activities.
2 New Outsourced Virtual Assistants
I recently hired 2 new virtual assistants to help me do exactly what I just described. There are tons of things that need to be done in my business, but that someone doing them doesn’t have to be me.
So now I’m taking my everyday tasks that I don’t need to be doing and making them into systems with rules. These two nice ladies are going to help me reach the next level and I’m stoked about having them on board.
DON’T be the Perfectionist
One of the hardest things for someone to do is give over control or responsibility to another person. The philosophy is “I’m the only one that can do the job perfectly.” What these people are missing is that things don’t have to be perfect all the time. Often times it’s the mistakes that will make your company the most money.
Don’t get caught up in the perfectionist attitude. Getting things done 90% right is better than not getting things done at all.
Hope this helped you and I would love to hear your thoughts on the subject below. Have a fantastic week!

This is an importatn point for anyone that is wanting to be an entrepreneur. I know that outsoursing so many tasks that someone else can do (maybe even better than you) is hug for business. This free's up so much free time for you to do the things that are truly important for the business.
The best thing for me is the small things are finally getting done. I'm a big picture type of personality and if I didn't have talented outsourced help, those small things would still be in the to-do pile. Thanks for visiting the site and commenting Steven.
