You’re wanting to start a new website and you need a good domain name for it. Why not take advantage of other people’s hard work and buy an expiring domain?
Think about for a sec. They already thought of a good name, have backlinks already built to it, they’re aged and not nearly as expensive as you think.
In fact, yesterday I bought an expiring domain for $59 that has 523 backlinks and a little over 3 years old. Talk about a steal. Buying this expiring domain just saved me weeks of hard work and years of waiting for the age.
So you’re probably wondering how I found such a great deal. Well, I’m going to tell you it is easier than you probably think.
To find the domain, I used a program called Market Samurai. They’ve added a domain searching module that gives you all the details for the expiring domains. It takes your research time and cuts in down to a 10th of the time it used to take.
To get the domain, I used a service called Snapnames. They act as your buyer’s agent to get you the expiring domain. Best thing is you can bid on the expiring domains without having to pay unless you win it. How great is that?

Brendan, I’ve been buying expiring domains for the past year and have seen some great results with some of them.
Although I can eventually build up a nice amount of backlinks to any domain I purchase, being able to purchase a domain with some “age” already built in really helps kick my site promotion into gear.
Don’t get me wrong, I love having links included as well, but screw the wine, give me some aged domains and a beer instead!
Love it dude!
Nice. Market Samurai has the built in domain thingy, I was going to use that… now I have an option. Appreciate it. Hope Costa Rica is fricken’ awesome for ya.
Is this Market Samurai that can connect you into aged domains, or Domain Samurai? I was reading about DomainFace and then they spoke as though it were bundled with DomainSamurai….(so many ninja’s and samurais everywhere I turn)…maybe you can clarify for your readers (and me) the differences between domainsamurai, marketsamurai and domainface…I know I’d appreciate it.
Thanks,
Mark
If you use snapnames, then why do you need the marketing samaurai? Explain por favor, Kimosabe.
because with market samurai, you can type in a keyword and it will search for all the aged and expiring domains with that keyword. as well as, give you the pertinent details about the domains like links and age.
It works with domainsamurai AND marketsamurai… same folks… same domain face… holla!
