About Brendan Wenzel

First and foremost, I’m a surf bum to the core! Since I was a baby, my mom and dad had me out at the beach all time. Once I was old enough to stand and swim, my dad was pushing me into waves and teaching me everything about the ocean. As a kid, my brother and I were fish. We loved being on the beach and in the water as much as we could. And that’s what I think has a huge role in where I am today.

My biggest lifestyle dream was to be able to surf whenever I want. In Jacksonville FL, where I grew up, you didn’t get much choice when you wanted to surf. If there were waves, you got in the water and surfed because you may not get more waves for a month and sometimes longer. So in 2008 when I had a chance to drive across the country to work a political campaign in California, I jumped on that opportunity in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that I wouldn’t be able to surf because we worked every single day for 3 months straight.

This is when I knew something had to give. I mean, what’s the point of being in California if I can’t even enjoy the surf. That’s when I made the choice to start really learning internet marketing. In the beginning, there were a few affiliate sales coming in here and there, but mainly it was a lot of hustling and doing random freelance work for people like building sites and social media layouts. When my college room mate saw what I was doing, he offered me a job in Boston working with his start up company. So packed my bags and moved from Oceanside CA to Boston, MA.

Learned a lot in my 9 months in Boston. Working on a high tech start up was exciting, fast paced and intense at times. My buddy gave me a lot of mentoring during this time to help develop some of my business skills while I was there. Watching him form a multi-million dollar budget was pretty wild. Even though Boston wasn’t really thing, I’m very thankful for the opportunity that was given to me there. Being able to witness a new company being born like that really helped my business savvy a ton.

In the summer of 2010, two really big events changed my life forever and directed me in the path that I’m in now. One was a week vacation my dad took us on to Costa Rica. The other was an online contest that I ran to promote a business opportunity as an affiliate. The contest ran for about 3 weeks and when it was all said and done, it accounted for close to $70,000 in total sales and put a five figure check into my back pocket. What a great gig to stumble upon! Before this, my contests were making me a few hundred dollars top. Now the funding was there to do some stuff.

Following that very successful contest, I decided to start helping people run contests. It’s one thing I’m really good at, so why not?

After taking the week vacation to Costa Rica, I’d made the decision that I had enough of the cold and surfless Boston and was ready for a change. What change? Well, I sold off most my stuff. Packed a carry on suitcase and was on my way to live in beautiful Costa Rica! Which is where I’m at today. My dream lifestyle is now a reality. It’s funny how often I hear “you’re living the dream”. We have waves almost 300 days out of the year. How could life be any better?

Now that I have my dream lifestyle, I’ve begun to transition out of running contests for other people and now only take clients on a very selective basis because my primary focus has now shifted over to building my network marketing business to give me total liberty from the trading hours for cash rat race model. And another great part of focusing on my network marketing business is that I’ll be able to help a ton of other people create their dream lifestyles as well. Helping people find happiness makes me feel complete. It’s something I strive for. And now having the avenue to do just that is very enlightening. I’m looking forward to helping change the world one person at a time!
